TWO brides could have more to worry about than catering and flower arrangements if their white wedding dresses are not returned before their big days.

A motorist travelling on Green Street, Wooroloo, on December 22 made the strange discovery of two wedding dresses wrapped up in a black doona on the side of the road.

The dresses were handed to Mundaring Police, who would like to return them to their owners.

Senior Sergeant John Browne said it was an unusual item to find by the road.

“They have not been claimed,” he said.

“We are not sure where they came from… there have been no reports of stolen wedding dresses in the area.”
