SUBIACO business owner Kerri Sharp is using her creative skills to co-ordinate and style local weddings with a focus on romance and beauty.
She opened Chandelabra on Nicholson Road six years ago, offering French and vintage furniture and decor pieces including bird cages, candelabras, chandeliers, mirrors and lamps. Now on Rokeby Road, the store has branched out into offering wedding hire and styling.
Mrs Sharp, who has a background in hairdressing and makeup and decorative artistry, turned her attention to designing receptions after a request from local restaurateur Christian Tinelli.
He asked her to create a special chill-out area at his wedding in Nedlands earlier in the year. Soon after, she was asked to style and create the decor of an entire wedding event in Margret River – then she realised there was a niche in the market she was eager to fill.
“Chandelabra’s focus has always been and still is to inspire and assist our clients to create their own romantic and beautiful decor in the welcoming and uplifting atmosphere of the store,” Mrs Sharp said.
“We can now provide the bride and groom with everything needed to create a wedding that can range from elegance with a touch of bling, stylish French, shabby chic or vintage, which is the latest trend in wedding style.”
The team can design the wedding concep, supply, deliver and set up the event and attend to co-ordinate proceedings.
